Este martes 17 de marzo, a las 00:00 horas, inició el Plan de Contingencia permanente de la Institución, cuyas acciones van orientadas a proteger en primera instancia a nuestro Capital Humano, así como garantizar la continuidad del servicio de generación y transmisión de energía eléctrica.
Estamos conscientes que el INDE representa para Guatemala un bastión indispensable para el desarrollo social y económico del país, ya que la energía eléctrica es un factor necesario para el funcionamiento de hospitales, industria, comercio, etc. Es por ello que nuestras actividades y función operativa deben continuar efectuándose con total normalidad, con el recurso humano y físico estrictamente necesario para tal fin.
En atención a lo anterior, agradecemos como Administración ese esfuerzo constante y compromiso que cada día han demostrado hacia la Institución, pero especialmente su buena disposición en estos momentos de crisis.
Reiterando la solicitud efectuada por el Señor Presidente Constitucional de la República, Dr. Alejandro Giammattei, en el sentido que mantengamos constate oración por Guatemala, por su gente y porque muy pronto podamos salir de esta eventualidad sin mayores repercusiones.
Hoy más que nunca Guatemala nos necesita unidos y reafirmando el espíritu de servicio.
