Feria de la Energía para tu Economía concluye con éxito
Más de mil guatemaltecos acudieron el 28 y 29 de julio a la primera edición de la Feria de la Energía para tu Economía con la finalidad de conocer alternativas de suministro de energía sostenible en el hogar mediante paneles solares.
La actividad forma parte de las políticas del Gobierno Central que buscan minimizar los impactos externos que han alterado el precio de los combustibles; el evento contó con la participación de varios distribuidores de paneles solares y de tecnología aplicada al sector energético.
“Queremos dar una alternativa a los precios de la energía y llevar el aprovechamiento de la energía solar a todos los hogares guatemaltecos de la manera más sustentable”, indicó el Presidente del Consejo Directivo del INDE, Ing. Melvin Quijivix Vega.
La Feria de la Energía para tu Economía contó con un panel de conferencias en el que varios expertos expusieron sobre innovaciones tecnológicas y sus ventajas para la generación de energía eléctrica, así mismo reiteraron la necesidad de aprovechar el potencial energético del país y reducir la dependencia de los derivados del petróleo.
«Mientras más gente consuma energía solar más electricidad habrá en la red y más guatemaltecos tendrán acceso a este servicio», señaló el Presidente de la República, Dr. Alejandro Giammattei, durante el acto de clausura.
Los asistentes también contaron con asesoría financiera y técnica para la instalación de paneles solares en su hogar lo que les permitirá ayudar a la conservación del ambiente y tener un ahorro familiar.
